CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR PROFESSIONALS--Moved to Webinars and Convention Page!
Throughout the year, the AEF offers a variety of seminars and programs specifically for environmental professionals. Most of these programs qualify for continuing education credit. Programs and seminars will be listed on our Events page for you to plan ahead, and we will have feature articles on our Home Page as each event approaches, including links to our Registrations page where you can download the registration form or register online using our secure registration forms. Continuing Education Forms to fill in as well as Presentations provided by our speakers will be available on the Events page, too.
EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
The AEF is particularly proud of the ongoing work of our Public Education Committee and its many supporters. Their work and contributions enhance and promote the educational opportunities of the AEF and expand each year. We would especially like to thank all the contributors to the Randall Mathis Scholarship, the Randy Thurman Scholarship, and the Pat Keogh Scholarship.
Public Education Programs of the Arkansas Environmental Federation provide environmental education opportunities for a variety of opportunities for college students, junior high and high school students and teachers, and college professors. The program began in 1974, and for nearly 50 years, new programs have been added as more funds have been raised to support additional activities. AEF members annually participate by becoming a Public Education Programs Sponsor. Sponsors are recognized throughout the year for making these programs possible.
