The AEF is particularly proud of the ongoing work of our Public Education Committee and its many supporters. Their work and contributions enhance and promote the educational opportunities of the AEF and expand each year.
Public Education Programs of the Arkansas Environmental Federation provide environmental education opportunities for a variety of opportunities for college students, junior high and high school teachers and college professors. The program began in 1974, and over the past 45 years, new programs have been added as more funds have been raised to support additional activities. AEF members are asked annually to participate by becoming a Public Education Programs Sponsor and a Randall Mathis or Randy Thurman Scholarship Endowment Fund Sponsor. Sponsors are recognized throughout the year for making these programs possible.
Note: Undergraduate applicants must have completed 40 credit hours at time of application.
